Rooftop solar panels can help cities to withstand extreme weather and provide energy to homes, businesses and businesses.
This technology could be an economic boon for cities, too, according to a report by The New York Times.
The technology is already being used in India.
In September 2018, a solar roof covering a building in Bangalore, India was installed, but it was quickly torn down.
The roof had to be replaced by a solar panel.
Solar roof systems have also been installed in Dubai, India.
According to the report, solar roofs can be built for less than $500,000.
A report in the Indian Express said solar roofs have been installed at residential buildings in Dubai and a solar-powered roof in Bengaluru.
The two cities, both located in northern India, are among the fastest growing solar power markets in the world.
In Dubai, solar rooftops have been built for more than 2 million homes.
India’s solar sector, which is the largest in the country, has seen growth in recent years.
Its capacity to generate energy has more than doubled over the past two years.
The country’s solar power market is projected to reach $1.3 trillion by 2020.
